Slow Steady state cardio
Run/Bike/Row/Ski/hike for 45 min to 1 hour

To build a stronger cardiovascular system, specifically your aerobic system, you need to go slow.  In the endurance world this might be called Zone 2 or conversational pace.  If you can’t talk, then you are going too hard.  Pick something that you can accomplish this without losing technique.  Some people cannot run at slower pace without losing running technique.  We will discuss this more…
