70-75% for 5 min

Rest for 3 min

70-75% for 5 min (the last :20-:30 sec go for max effort)

Rest for 4 min

70-75% for 5 min (the last :30- :45 go for max effort)

Rest for 5 min

75-80% for 5 min (the last :45- 1:00 go for max effort)

This is a great way to explore max effort and managing your recovery! If you need to rest longer between sets, then go for it. You shouldn’t diminish too much as you progress through the sets, if you do rest longer.
